Everyone gets 24 hours a day – 60 minutes for every hour and 60 seconds for every minute. No one can get more; no one can get less. We can’t build a bigger time pipeline and say, “I want more.” No one can live more than one second at a time. In this sense everyone is truly equal. Now this one fact alone makes time the most precious of all commodities. This factor forces us to an inescapable conclusion: We’ve got to make our time work for us – it’s the most perishable and nonnegotiable possession we have. We have to get production out of every second. Time is the only commodity we deal with which cannot be counterfeited, stolen, or placed in inventory. Remember, time is irreplaceable.
